You can book directly from the website through the integrated booking system. Simply select your service, pick a time that suits you, and you'll receive an email confirmation.
I know from experience that for many pelvic health conditions, the education, lifestyle modification, and guided exercise are the "gold standard" for long-term recovery. However, if in certain cases, during our assessment I identify that you would benefit from a hands-on examination or further investigation, I will advise you accordingly and help you access appropriate local healthcare services where possible.
Please don't worry about interruptions. I can work around your busy household—that’s the beauty of virtual care. I am more than happy to have family/children around while you take our video/telephone call. Please do not feel you need to reschedule because of lack of childcare. I have a toddler myself, I appreicate the difficulties in finding time for yourself without interruptions.
Please wear something you are comfortable in. I may ask you to perform some movements or stretches, so loose fitting clothing (leggings or joggers) may be most suitable. You will not be asked to undress during your appointment.
Usually, nothing! Just a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable talking and have enough room to take a few steps back from the camera so I can see your full body movement.
The booking system, Cliniko, has an integrated video platform. It is a secure, GDPR-compliant telehealth platform. It’s encrypted and private. You’ll just click a link in your email without complicated software to download.
No, a referral is not required for private treatment. You are able to arrange an appointment yourself without seeing your GP or a consultant first.
A huge part of pelvic health is about pressure management, breathing, and how your muscles coordinate during movement. I use detailed symptom history and "external" movement screens (watching how you move, breathe, and stabilise) to get a clear picture of what’s happening inside.
Currently I am unable to accept referrals from insurance. All sessions will be self-pay. I am happy to provide receipt of a paid invoice if you are claiming back from your insurance company.
